Other Issues

• Safety boat will be covering the entire expedition.
• All participants must be able to swim at least 50m with buoyancy aid and attend a safety briefing before the expedition.
• Swimming confidence test will be carried out.
• Though kayaking certification is not a pre-requisite for joining the expedition, it would be good for participants to have kayaking experience.
• Participants will be paired according to their paddling skills and experience and double kayaks will be used for the expedition except for safety kayakers.
• If a participants is feeling unwell before/during/after the expedition, it is mandatory to inform the organisers immediately.
• Certain level of discipline and teamwork are expected of the participants to facilitate a smooth and safe expedition for everyone.
